Ken Ziomek – Aiken, SC
Wow! Talk about a fishing platform….Ken’s Tandem Bass Angler is rigged up with front, middle, and rear rod holders, secured tackle boxes, carpeted floor, and elevated swivel seat mounts. He even has a place to secure the transport cart!
Warren Patterson – Tullahoma, TN
This river fishing machine features Scotty Anchor Locks on both the bow and stern, enabling Warren to position the boat for optimal fly fishing. His cooler fits perfectly on the floor and is only a swivel away.
Mike Smith – Corpus Christi, TX
Saving his effort for fighting the fish, Mike’s NuCanoe is smartly set-up with trolling motor, bait bucket, and cooler. The battery is secure in the bow of the NuCanoe, ending Mike to sit in the stern for easy motor control. Nice catch, too!
Steve Crowder – Charlotte, NC
A simple, yet elegant, lake fishing set-up for Steve Crowder. The custom milk crates hold gear and serve as a mounting platform for the fishing poles. All the fishing tackle is stored in the Sport Box for easy access.

The Griffith Family – Dallas, GA
“For us, the NuCanoe is the perfect Family Time Boat. The three of us love nature so much. This is the ticket to enjoy it together. We’ve had our NuCanoe for about a year and just had a custom flag made for it. We call it the Gojira Gondola. Godzilla and our little Viking are the ship’s protectors when we’re out on the rough seas! We’ve installed some seats with backrests on them because we like to cruise around and relax…. well, OK….. we do a little paddling, too. Anyway, we’re looking forward to many a nice voyage together on the NuCanoe. Thanks for the coolest boat on Earth!”
Jason Sicchio – Milwaukee, WI

“It’s still a work in progress and it has changed a bit since this pic. I have a trolling motor battery box permanently mounted in rear and attached four pvc tubes for rod/net holders inside that. Moved the rubbermaid blue bucket from back to front and lost the milk crate. The rubbermaid fits perfectly and attached another 4 pvc rod holders inside that. Drilled holes in the battery box and bucket to attach tools, rods, etc. with bungee rope. Saves set up time and I can carry a bunch of stuff in the bucket and then only have to strap that down. I also use a bungee stretched to two O-rings and keep some tools/net looped around that for ease of use and safety. I took a couple large red wiffle balls and cut holes in them to make cheap rod/cup holders.”
Gary Barrett – McLean, NY

“Here is my 10’ NuCanoe rigged up for fishing. I have kept it simple with a portable fish finder and a hinged mount I designed for the transducer, that slips on and off a permanently mounted post. It is also equipped with a portable GPS, stern anchor system, rear transport cart mount, fishing net bracket and Scotty fishing rod holders, front and back. I keep all my electronics, straps and misc. fishing gear in the Sport Box when I am not using them. I put a fishing tackle bag in front of me when fishing and have room and tie downs for a cooler behind the seat if I want to take one. I simply love the ease of loading, stability, and maneuverability of my NuCanoe. I fish a lot more often, because it is so easy for me to handle.”
Doug Kalish – Atlanta, GA

“My custom outfitted NuCanoe which I use for Striper fishing on large lakes in the Southeast. Here are the things I have done: 1) Custom designed removable 10 gallon bait tank module plus a 12 volt battery to operate the oxygen infusion system; 2) Custom designed and built modular console which contains a Lowrance fish finder and GPS, Scotty rod holders, small 12 volt battery to run system that can be removed. The system also includes a flexible transducer that does not require creating holes in the hull; 3) A 40 pound thrust trolling motor and battery with an extension allowing the fisherman to operate from the seat; 4) Removable pontoons providing additional safety measures against being thrown from the craft when encountering large waves created by cabin cruisers and wave boats. Watch my video here.”
Kevin McCullough – Mt. Juliet, TN

“Here is a picture of my NuCanoe set up I use most of the time. My set up includes a depth finder on the right front, a milk crate with two rod holders attached, a retractable dog leash attached to a 3 lb. ancher out of the hole in the rear, and a PVC video camera mount on the right rear to video my fishing. I plan on adding a swivel seat and a NuCanoe cart soon.”
Joe Rodricks – Massachusettes

“We chose a NuCanoe for it’s stability since it is primarily for light recreational paddling with our two dogs. We fabricated a deck out of some scrap acrylic and covered it with indoor/outdoor carpet. The dogs love it since they can lay down at will. We were a bit concerned that having them above the waterline would make it much less stable but this turns out not to be a problem. We drilled a large hole in the deck to function as a cup-holder. While simple, it’s made our NuCanoe a perfect fit for us and our dogs. Plus, we can pull our two dogs (~60 lbs. each) into the NuCanoe from the water without swamping.”
