Hey yall, i have a question maybe you can answer for me. Last saturday we went to the small river here at the house for a 7 mile fishing trip. I took everything off the nucanoe and went bare minimum , just me and my tackle. My girlfriend said the nucanoe looked perfectly level with me in the seat. So off we went, but everytime i laid the paddle down to fish, the nucanoe would do and about face and want to go down the river backwards. I finally got fed up with it and just went backwards so i could fish, of course i had to keep looking for laydowns and under water hazards the hard way. But heres the thing, if i went backwards, it would go perfectly straight down the river. Is this because i have my seat position wrong? should the front be up more than the rear? Is this just normal for the nucanoe? Heck, i could just turn the seat 180 and use it that way, lol got a front trolling motor mount ready made. But seriously, I havnt had time to experiment and we have another trip coming up soon, Got any suggestions? Thanks for the help, Bobby

Try moving the seat either forward or backwards some. It may help.

I have done numerous river floats and have had no issues and I think Crappie is on point. I personally ride about a seat length from the middle may a seat and a half.

ok, so i should move my seat back some? because im almost in the middle. Im guessing the rear of my nucanoe is to high out of the water and thats why i have no tracking.
